Blessington 10.00am & 11.30am

PLEASE NOTE:

All Masses via Webcam only unless you already have a ticket to attend in person

TICKET HOLDERS ONLY will be allowed into the Church for the Christmas Masses.

1. There are NO TICKETS LEFT for any of the Christmas Eve or Christmas Day Masses. All Masses will be available via webcam www.blessingtonparish.ie
2. There is no FAMILY Mass this year on Christmas Eve: instead, we are asking families to sit together at home and watch the Prayer Service for Families that the parents have been notified about through the schools or join in on the webcam at any of our Masses.
3. As the demand was quite high for tickets, we knew we would not be able to accommodate everyone, there will be Mass at 6pm on St Stephen’s Day and 10am on Sunday 27^th perhaps you might consider attending one of these or a weekday Mass in the days before or after Christmas
4. Please note: The obligation to attend Mass is still lifted

Donations can be made to the 1st & 2nd collections via the DONATE BUTTON on the parish website. The 1st collection goes to towards the support of the parish. The 2nd collection goes to the Diocese. Loving Father,
Help us remember the birth of Jesus,
that we may share in the song of the angels,
the gladness of the shepherds,
and worship of the wise men.

Close the door of hate
and open the door of love all over the world.
Let kindness come with every gift
and good desires with every greeting.
Deliver us from evil by the blessing
which Christ brings,
and teach us to be merry with clear hearts.

May the Christmas morning
make us happy to be thy children,
and Christmas evening bring us to our beds
with grateful thoughts,
forgiving and forgiven,
for Jesus’ sake.
