CHRISTMAS Masses in Blessington          

Christmas Eve: 6pm – 7.30pm – 9.30pm

Christmas Day: 10am – 11.30am

TICKET HOLDERS ONLY will be allowed into the Church for the Christmas Masses.

  1. There are NO TICKETS LEFT for any of the Christmas Eve or Christmas Day Masses. All Masses will be available via webcam www.blessingtonparish.ie
  2. There is no FAMILY Mass this year on Christmas Eve: instead, we are asking families to sit together at home and watch the Prayer Service for Families that the parents have been notified about through the schools or join in on the webcam at any of our Masses.
  3. As the demand was quite high for tickets, we knew we would not be able to accommodate everyone, there will be Mass at 6pm on St Stephen’s Day and 10am on Sunday 27th perhaps you might consider attending one of these or a weekday Mass in the days before or after Christmas
  4. Although we mention this with regard to Blessington Church the same applies to all our Churches this Christmas.
  5. Please note: The obligation to attend Mass is still lifted.

THIRD SUNDAY OF ADVENT – GAUDATE – 13th December. The coming of Christ is a message of joy: a joy founded and rooted in God’s love and care for his people, and his promise of an eternal companionship.

Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th December. SVP will be holding their Annual collection at this weekend’s Masses.  The funds raised will be spent in the local community helping those who need it most with food, heating & education costs throughout the winter & beyond. People can also donate directly to SVP Blessington through the Parish Office. Many thanks you for your very generous support.
