CHRISTMAS Masses in Blessington          

Christmas Eve: 6pm – 7.30pm – 9.30pm

Christmas Day: 10am – 11.30am

1. We will have very limited seats available and will not be able to cope with the usual number of people who would normally attend. (Please note: The obligation to attend Mass is still lifted.)
2. If you are in any way vulnerable or nervous about being out among people, we would suggest that you join us via webcam and visit the Church for daily Mass at a quieter time.
3. There is no FAMILY Mass this year on Christmas Eve: instead, we are asking families to sit together at home and watch the Prayer Service for Families that the parents have been notified about through the schools or join in on the webcam at any of our Masses.
4. As the demand is quite high for tickets, we will try to accommodate all requests, however we know this is not going to be possible – there will be Mass at 6pm on St Stephen’s Day and 10am on Sunday 27^th perhaps you might consider attending one of these or a weekday Mass in the days before or after Christmas
5. Although we mention this with regard to Blessington Church the same applies to all our Churches this Christmas.
6. Tickets will be available from the Parish Office for all Blessington Masses from Monday 14^th

THIRD SUNDAY OF ADVENT – GAUDATE – 13^th December. The coming of Christ is a message of joy: a joy founded and rooted in God’s love and care for his people, and his promise of an eternal companionship.

Saturday 12^th & Sunday 13^th December. SVP will be holding their Annual collection at this weekend’s Masses.  The funds raised will be spent in the local community helping those who need it most with food, heating & education costs throughout the winter & beyond. People can also donate directly to SVP Blessington through the Parish Office. Many thanks you for your very generous support.

Blessington Parish 2^nd Annual CHRISTMAS CRIB EXHIBITION in the Coimín Centre Blessington on December 18th 10am to 4pm, December 19th 11am to 6pm, December 20th 11am to 5pm. Over 100 exhibits of “Cribs from around the World” Some beautiful new additions this year.
