Easter Sunday 12th April 2020

Easter message.
The great feast of Easter is central to the Good News of Jesus Christ that God’s love is stronger than death. Faith in the resurrection of Jesus is the basis of our hope in eternal life, a hope which enables us to bear patiently the trials and tribulations of life.
This will be an Easter like no other I have ever experienced. Because of the Covid 19 pandemic our celebrations will be restricted and for many isolated. However nothing can dim our hope and it’s hope that will help us to endure these difficult and frightening times.

Fr. Flor Mc Carthy wrote ” It’s amazing what the human spirit can endure and overcome provided it is nourished by the bread of hope. “
As we celebrate Easter the feast of the resurrection may you be filled with the hope that
Life is stronger than death
Love is stronger than fear and
Hope is stronger than despair.
