The Season of Creation runs from September 1^st to October 4^th   During this time we are asked to reflect on our commitment to care for creation & to take practical steps to reduce waste & carbon emissions.

The Encyclical “Laudatio Si” meaning “praised be to you” was released in May 2015. The document opens with the following words from Pope Francis which are:

“I wish to address every person living on this planet. I urgently appeal for a new dialogue about how we are shaping the future of our planet . We need a conversation which includes everyone, since the environmental challenge we are undergoing & its human roots concern & affect us all”
