A new collaborative Art Exhibition is opening on 6th July in Baltinglass. Two local Art Groups, Cruthu Art Group & The Glen Art Group have come together to present this new exhibition. All the artists taking part in this show are living & working in the locality – a vibrant art making community that is working in an innovative and authentic way. A big thank you to Eamonn Horan of Horan’s Bar & Restaurant, Main Street, Baltinglass, who are the host for the show. The exhibition is open on Wednesday 6th July from 6pm to 9pm. And from Thursday 7th July to Saturday 9th July from 12 noon to 7pm. The Art on display, will feature painting, mix media, photography & jewellery from ten local artists all diverse & interesting, as these artists excel when working in their own particular medium & style showing their unique talent. The opening evening for this show will include a “reading” Aisling Creegan of her new book “I am Someone”. Everyone is invited to come along and support your local artists.

The Summer Stars Reading Programme is kicking off this week & Running until 31st August in Blessington Library.
